Right as I have left it for so long I'm going to start again from today......I'm currently living in Brisbane ...... didn't plan to come here but life works in funny ways and most of the time for good reasons. the place I am living is Norman Park quite close to the city.
I'm living with 3 boys Elliott from Coddnham back home,
Marty (lef) who El works with and
Enough of the wild life for now...
Back to me - Ive been working as a temp for a company called lite and easy I was a receptionist don't cha know...... now that has come to an end I'm desperately looking for work and have applied for the most random jobs from lighting sales person to egg collector, salon work and receptionist jobs..... some thing will come up I'm sure I have a few interviews this week so I cant complain.
Ive been doing some hair dressing in the evenings and have put some posters up but these things take time and knowing my luck it will be quite for ages and then like buses.....all come at once!
Trying to keep fit - bit of a nightmare in the heat unless you can afford to go to an air conditioned gym! Saying that Ive tried out hot yoga (yoga in an Hot room funnily enough) that nearly killed me may I add, Im getting out and about and walking loads, throwing in the occasional run now and again.
Actually if you want to know the truth I brought a cheep fitness DVD which comes out now and again - when no one else is around...... Id feel a bit of a plonker doing it in front of any one, like a dizzy baby elephant trying to be graceful!
The Story bridge ....more like the story of my life bridge !!
OH I do miss every one so much some days I find it really hard and just want to jump on a plane and come home just for cuddles...... Ive realise since Ive been away just how much a good hug actually means to me and didnt realise I needed them so much ?!
the thing is I do actually want to see so much more of Australia and the world so I'm just going to have to put up and shut up and realise that you just cant have it all, well not all in one go.
Interviews today and tomorrow so going to get on, fingers crossed !
this is a creek where marty took us and yes they did jusmp off that rock!! I on the other hand chose a smaller one to jump off !!!!
I'm living with 3 boys Elliott from Coddnham back home,

Andrew Martys friend ....actually they might have my head for saying that ...hut hum I mean Men ! all of them are very easy to get on with and really nice guys but some times I do miss normal conversation , you know the ones that girls have, OK maybe not normal but keeping it real !
Thats where Zoe and Ange come in (above; zoe left Ang right) superb girls both with great hair cuts dont cha think ?????? Zoe goes out with Nate who is Elliotts gym bud yet another really nice fella.
Gem is a very good friend we are very simalar and hopefully friends for life
Donna (another good hair cut ???) Another awsome chick!
The area is lovely once you get used to the wild life, possums roam around in the trees at night making the most scary noises, we have found 8 deadly red back spiders in the garden one of which I was saved by Elliot a bit of a hero I'm my eyes - we were sitting on the patio chars enjoying a nice cold drink in a relaxed atmosphere, all of a sudden i freaked out thinking some thing had crawled on me, legs and arms every where a bit of a windmill impression going on, I then got the "are you being paranoid again Jo" before "actually stay very still" El ran up to the kitchen and the Airogard came out, spraying relentlessly on the back of my chair, I nearly chocked not just by the fumes of the killer spray but it as in fact a red back and quite a big one !!
The fruit bats are huge, they are the size or maybe larger than a big seagull and they fly over every night in mass force like a sea of black filling the sky, absolutely halmless unless you own a car then you may think otherwise, if you think sea gulls are relentless messy creatures that aim for your car then consider the acidity of a fruit bats dung and on a larger scale - ruins the paint work !! we have decided that every thing in Australia seams to be on steroids and if it bites or sitings then it 40 times worse over here, I was bit by a large black ant and when I say large I mean Large, on my foot, oh the pain it was like being stung buy a wasp maybe even a little worse! I'm not good with bites and stings I seam to react with every thing and I seam to be the one that gets bit the most !
